    Very sad news to hear.
    Rod has been around longer than I have and was a fine competitor. Especially in the practice races which he was always in when I had time to race in those.

    I am in Vermont, not far from where Rod lived in terms of the globe we raced around so many times. It was always nice to see him in races.

    Fair winds Rod.

    @BER_baggus
    Look for tides, currents etc and you will find something like XTide.
    https://flaterco.com/xtide/

    Maybe this will help you to an answer for your question.

    In QTVLM look for configuration>gribs and harmonics.
    I can not imagine it to be useful in SOL. SOL routing does only use weather (grib).

    Hi Kipper1258,

    Is there a way to reduce the size of the "AutoGrib" pop up window?
    _____________________________________
    move your mouse-cursor to the left upper corner of the popup window and resize the popup-window.
    (with mouse leftclick-hold and move.with touchpad tap-hold and move)

    Assuming it is a 'windows' laptop. Mac or other os I do not know 'how to' things.

    If you do not see appear an arrow in a corner then double click somewhere in the top-middle of the popup-window and try again to resize.

The Beagle in the Bay of Islands 2024

And west the Beagle went again to reach the Bay of Islands on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island on the 19th of December. Darwin was not nearly as impressed by the inhabitants here, commenting that the Maori natives were “savages with the character of a much lower order than the Tahitians” and many of the English settlers were of “the most worthless character” and “included runaway convicts”, not anticipating that less than 200 years later a blend of these characteristics would combine to create a nation of serial Rugby World Cup Winners – evolution, eh, Charlie! The Beagle sailed on swiftly, but we will stay a little longer and explore c 200nm of the North Island’s glorious eastern coast, up and down, as ever in our replica Tall Ship Class B.
