	Thank you for your input! Obviously when someone creates a race for SOL they do so to make it enjoyable or, sometimes, to copy a real-life race (which may have many buoys). Races designed by SOLers for SOLing is a unique opportunity and to be encouraged. It is therefore very important to ensure that the race calendar shows a variety of races so, I am sorry if you and others have felt there are too many buoy-intensive races! Perhaps you would like to offer a race-design yourself? Il est donc très important pour assurer que le calendrier montre une variété de races ... ainsi, je suis désolée si vous et d'autres ont ressenti il y a trop de courses avec beaucoup de bouées ! Vous souhaitez peut-être offrir une course-conception vous-même ? Le processus est très simple et, si vous basez votre course sur un véritable, nous pouvons peut-être il planifier en même temps ?

Mais n'est ce pas aussi le rôle de SOL de leur faire des suggestions pour permettre d'avoir une course le moins bridée possible ? Ce que vous faites sans doute avec plus ou moins de succès. Cette remarque de ma part va dans le sens d'améliorer l'attrait des courses. Je ne suis qu'un marin virtuel, pas un vrai skipper. Mais peut être qu'un jour je vous proposerai une course de mon cru. The Beagle in the Azores 2024

And west the Beagle went one final time to round the Cape of Good Hope on May 31 1836. Ashore, Darwin met up with the Astronomer Royal, Herschel, who just happened to be in South Africa at the same time mapping the southern skies. After sounding out his many ideas on evolution and extinction with Herschel, the Beagle now sailed north, stopping briefly in St Helena, Ascension and Brazil, and the Cape Verdes again, to reach the Azores on September 19, 1836. Fitzroy and Darwin at this stage were in a hurry to get back to Britain, but online in 2024 we will stay a little longer to explore this final remote archipelago in our virtual Tall Ship Class B Beagle, 630nm round and about the islands, minding as always in these waters not to bump into any large cetaceans!

Lake Victoria Sprint 2024

Welcome to Lake Victoria, home of the final sprint of Q4 and 2024. This Saturday we will sail our Lasers from Kaazi to Entebbe - 18 odd English miles in a cooling breeze, however slight it might be. Friends there will host an end of year BBQ of Luwombo, Muchomo, Matoke, and other delicacies. We will all sleep well after that. Now that the year is done relax and take in some sights like the Botanical Gardens and National Zoo. Enjoy the holidays and rest, 2025 sprints are a month away.

Christmas(W) to Christmas(E) Island 2024
