Merci pour votre course.. je le regarderai cet apres-midi/soir :-)

Je suis toujours tres heureuse a voir des nouvelles courses!

Thank you for your race..I will look at it this afternoon/evening.

I am always very happy to see new races :-)
Desolee, mais il n'est pas une course au kmz..c'est seulement le titre!!

Est-ce que vous avez regarder le "Comment faire une course pour SOL" .pdf, ecrit par Incog?

On peut le voir ici:

Have you looked at the "How to" paper written by Incog.

Its viewable here:

Hello
sorry, but I do not speak English, so I use the translator
google.
the file I've sent. kmz normally opens with google maps
and you see the race and created.
she left the port of Royan and goes to Brest. all the waypoints are
marked!
I do not understand that you can not see her, she appears
normally here.
I therefore join you again this file.

Merci!! La derniere copie (beaucoup plus grande que la premiere) est parfait - je peux regarder le trajet et c'est donc vraiment possible a creer une course pour SOL!!

Quelle est votre preference du type de bateau pour ce course?

Thank you. The last copy (much bigger in size than the first) is perfect - I can see the course and it is therefore possible to make a race for SOL from it.

What is your preferred boat-type for this race?

hello
I come to you to suggest several things:
1 - the boat could be a trimaran Groupama type C5
2 - it would be good running partners for a Friday night it
can be completed on Sunday evening
3 - Is it possible, after the race to transform this course in record
Standing lap?
thank you for responding and good weekend to you
Bonjour!!

----------------

Good morning!! Attached is a copy of your track showing all the waypoints that I have added this morning.

In a few days I will set this up on SOL and we can run the race perhaps in August or September.

Please will you look at the list of boat types now attached to this Forum, and make a choice from the list of boats already set up in SOL?

hello
I would add a variation to my path: the possibility of move north and south of Ré island (between WP4 and WP5), with
the requirement to pass the door 5.
Date can be the weekend of August 20 to 22, or August 27 to 29,or else, for there to be a maximum of vessels in late September.
I'll see the list of vessels SOL and I offer you a boat.
Finally, you did not answer regarding the possibility, after the race, making this course a constant challenge timed ... what about?
Do you want also that I send you a poster for this race?
Thank you
I chose the 60ft trimaran boat SOL
it corresponds exactly to the boat that I have proposed.
cordially

Halifax to Hooper Bay 2024

And now it’s Autumn in the Arctic, the sun is permanently below the horizon, but during the day, from c 0900 to c 1700 local time, there is some twilight – nautical twilight, not to be confused with civil twilight which is brighter. Having receded all summer, ice is starting to return to the numerous straits and bays of Canada’s North West Passage. High time then to set off on our last leg of the High Latitudes Series from Halifax in Nova Scotia to Alaska’s Hooper Bay. It’s 3850nm and we need to hurry, so we’ll take the Pelagic 77!

The Beagle in Tahiti 2024

Leaving the Galapagos behind, the course was west again, and by November 15th the Beagle reached Tahiti. Like Gauguin, sixty years later, Darwin found the natives, recently Christianized, pleasant and intelligent, but unlike Gauguin, this did not persuade him or his captain, Fitzroy, to tarry long. Let’s have a sail-around in 2024 anyway; 640nm, as ever in the Class B Tall Ship HMS Beagle.
